I’m back from a fabulous break! If you follow me on Instagram, you’ll know that I was in Australia – amongst the Kangaroos, Koalas and the sunshine! I got flooded with work once I got back (you know, my day job) and couldn’t do much for my channel or the blog.
I’ll be working on a huge acrylic piece soon and I needed to warm up a bit. What’s the best choice of paint when you want to paint with no idea in your head, just build up as you go? – GOUACHE! Gouache works awesome for layering, so any mistakes can be covered up easily. It took about 15 mins from start to finish (the speed painting is only 4 mins long). Sorry about the lighting though, it gets really dark, real soon in Europe right now.
Materials used in this speed painting:
Gouache paints from
- Royal Talens
- Schmincke Academie
- HKS Designers Gouache
- Horadam
Moleskine Watercolor Album
