Fall wreath in Adobe fresco

Do you like fall? To be honest, I don’t. I like spring better! But I do love the fall colors. In our last week’s tutorial, we illustrated a fall landscape, and this in this tutorial we will learn to draw a fall wreath in Adobe Fresco. We will be using a combination of vector and pixel brushes for this illustration. Don’t worry, I will provide the sketch and color palette, scroll down for the link to download them.

What you will learn in this tutorial:

  • Bringing in sketches as images
  • Adjusting the image/sketch settings like blend modes (set to multiply) and opacity to make sure you can see the sketch from any layer and to work around if the image/sketch has a white background
  • Picking colors from images and adding it to your palette
  • Importance of drawing each element on. different layer to enable more freedom in choosing to arrange the illustration as you want
  • Using masking techniques to change color of any element even if you are towards the end of the illustration
